Our School

Located in the Wanscuck neighborhood of Providence, this small learning community of approximately 350 students offers personalized learning opportunities. Advanced Placement (AP) courses, internships, mentorships, and early college opportunities are offered to students in grades 9-12. The school offers a P-Tech Information Technology CTE program with concentrations in Networking (cyber security and cloud computing), Computer Support Specialist, or Computer Science (programming and web development). Restorative practices and peer mediation play key roles in a school culture that emphasizes student voice. E-Cubed Academy offers English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction and special education programming in an integrated setting.

A Historic Milestone for PPSD: Fewer Students in CSI Schools Than Ever Before

PROVIDENCE, RI – Providence Public Schools is making history with the release of Rhode Island’s latest statewide school accountability results, which show the District has the fewest number of Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) schools since RIDE first identified CSI schools under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) became law in December 2018.
